God’s church is going home my
friend
it’s leaving any day
I speak of people who know God
who follow in His way

those who are bought with valued price
the price of precious blood
will clothe themselves in immortality
ascending with the flood

our Lord of Lords will come again
His children gathered up
partaking in a heavenly feast
our Lord and us will sup
____
a feast we’ll find is waiting there
all things are being prepared
for the groom shall come for His bride
a wedding to be shared
____
is your lamp full and trimmed for Him
are you waiting to be called
or is your oil lacking for more
not preparing at all
____
the time is perfect to get right
with Jesus at this hour
for grace abounds to anyone
who partakes of His power
____
and God shall come for His faithful
the day at hand is near
for the blowing of the trumpet
is what the church will hear
